Which protector fits a SteelBook without a J-card?
Choose the SteelBook Slipcover, SKU 10000, for slide-in access, or the SteelBook Protector, SKU 10100, for an enclosed case. Confirm the measurements of your specific edition before ordering.
Which protector should I use with a J-card?
The SteelBook Slipcover with J-card is SKU 10001. The enclosed SteelBook Protector with J-card is SKU 10101. SKU 10101 is also described for cases still sealed in original packaging. Send your edition’s measurements to Barinderpal if you are unsure.
What is the difference between a slipcover and a full protector?
A slipcover is a sleeve that allows a SteelBook to slide in and out. A full protector encloses the case on all sides with folding closures. Choose based on your edition’s fit and how you prefer to access the case.
What is a J-card?
A J-card is the printed information wrap supplied with many SteelBook editions. Keeping it on the case changes the fit, so choose a protector version designed to accommodate it.
What size is the lenticular SteelBook protector?
The Lenticular SteelBook Protector, SKU 10120, is specified as 140.5 mm wide × 18.5 mm deep × 176 mm high. It is intended for Blu-ray SteelBooks with lenticular slips without booklets. Special editions vary, so compare your edition’s measurements before ordering.
Which protectors have confirmed thickness and material details?
The product references for SKU 10101 and SKU 10120 specify a 0.3 mm thick, acid-free case. Ask Barinderpal to confirm material, thickness and dimensions for the other SKUs before ordering.
Should I remove the protective film?
Yes. All Star Protector’s SteelBook protectors arrive with a thin protective film. Peel it away to reveal the clear finish, then gently form the folds and fit your case.
How do I assemble a SteelBook protector?
Remove the protective film, gently open and form the existing folds, then slide in the matching SteelBook. On an enclosed protector, close the folding flaps. Stop and confirm the size if the case does not fit without force.
Are the movie cases included?
No. Protectors are supplied empty. Movie cases and artwork in the original fit photographs demonstrate the fit and are not included with the protectors.
How do I order directly from Barinderpal?
